Mission Statement

Loving God, loving people, and making disciples of Jesus everywhere to become an equipping and mobilizing church that transforms our world for Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

We are committed to being real followers and believers of Jesus. We believe in the power of the Cross, its transforming power enabling a holy walk with our God. We believe Jesus is the Head of the church and we seek to walk humbly before our God in obedience to His eternal word. We seek to walk in love because He first loves us and commands us to love each other just as He has loved us. Put simply, we love Jesus and we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness above all else.

1. The Holy Scriptures

All scripture (Old and New Testament) is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Corinthians 10:11

2. The Trinity

The Trinity—God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit—one God, eternally existent in three persons.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19-20, 1 John 5:7

3. THE DEITY OF CHRIST

Jesus is God incarnate and was manifest in human flesh. He was like us in all ways except for one, being free from sin.
3.Isaiah 9:6-7, John 1:1-14, John 5:22-23, John 8:54-58, John 10:30

4. THE VIRGIN BIRTH

We believe that our Lord was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.
Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23

5. CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

  • Conditions to Salvation
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life.
    Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7

The vicarious atoning death of Jesus, who died on the cross so that we might live, offering Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for the sinful man—the salvation of man.
    Romans 5:6-10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, John 3:16

  • The Evidences of Salvation
The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
    Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12

6. THE BODILY RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION OF CHRIST

Christ is the risen savior. Jesus arose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
Romans 8:31-35, Acts 1:8-11

7. THE FALL OF MAN

Man, by voluntary transgression, fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death.
Romans 5:12-19

8. THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

All believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31

  • Distinct from and subsequent to the new birth:
    Acts 8:12-17, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 15:7-9
  • Initial evidence of this infilling is speaking in tongues:
    Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46
9. THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION

The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven
Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23

Since God’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshiped by man, to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, and to demonstrate His love and compassion for all the world, the priority reason-for-being of Triumphant Endtime Ministries as part of the Church is:

  • To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15,16).
  • To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13).
  • To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:28; 14:12).
  • To be a people who demonstrate God’s love and compassion for all the world (Psalms 112:9; Galatians 2:10; 6:10; James 1:27).

Triumphant End-Time Ministries exists expressly to give continuing emphasis to this reason-for-being in the New Testament apostolic pattern by teaching and encouraging believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. This experience:

  • Enables them to evangelize in the power of the Spirit with accompanying supernatural signs (Mark 16:15-20; Acts 4:29-31; Hebrews 2:3,4).
  • Adds a necessary dimension to a worshipful relationship with God (1 Corinthians 2:10-16; 1 Corinthians 12-14).
  • Enables them to respond to the full working of the Holy Spirit in the expression of fruit and gifts and ministries as in New Testament times for the edifying of the body of Christ and care for the poor and needy of the world (Galatians 5:22-26; Matthew 25:37-40; Galatians 6:10; 1 Corinthians 14:12; Ephesians 4:11,12; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Colossians 1:29).
10. THE WORD AND PRAYER

Believers are to be committed to the Word and prayer. All believers must abide in the Word, spending time daily in the Word and seeking to be a doer of the Word. The Word is the foundation on which a believer must build their life. They must also be given to daily prayer. The church will also pray daily for their fellow believers and the lost.
Matthew 6: 5-16; John 15; Matthew 7: 24-27; Luke 18: 1; John 8: 31

11. ALL BELIEVERS ARE TO WALK BY FAITH

By the hearing of God’s Word, faith comes to the believer.
Romans 10:17

Faith is exercised by believing in the heart, confessing what one believes from the Word of God, and being a doer of the Word and not a hearer only.
Mark 11:23, James 1:22, James 2:18

Through faith, we have access to all the grace of God—salvation, forgiveness, deliverance, baptism in the Holy Spirit, knowledge of His Word, answered prayer, and a personal relationship as a child of God. Romans 5:2, Matthew 9:29

12. THE BELIEVER’S AUTHORITY.

ALL BELIEVERS HAVE DOMINION OVER SIN, SATAN, AND SELF
All believers have power over all the power of the enemy and should live a lifestyle that represents the life of Christ. Luke 10:19, Matthew 10:7-8

  • Sin has no more dominion over the believer.
    Romans 6:9, Romans 6:14, Matthew 1:21

Our Lord Jesus Christ is an overcomer—victorious and more than a conqueror, therefore as His body, we are the same through Him.
    Ephesians 1:19-23, Acts 1:8

13. HOLINESS

ALL BELIEVERS SHOULD WALK IN HOLINESS AND PURITY
Holiness is the goal of all disciples, and all sexual perversion (fornication, adultery, and homosexuality) is unbiblical, sinful, and unacceptable to God.
2 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:24-27

14. ALL BELIEVERS HAVE THE PROMISE OF PROSPERITY

God wants all believers to be healthy and prosperous, and through His principle of giving and His law of sowing and reaping, we live under divine favor with God as our source and supply.
3 John 2, Matthew 6:31-33, 2 Corinthians 8:9

15. JESUS IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH

Christ is the Head of the Church, and all attention and glory are directed to Him alone. It is Christ whom we preach, praise, worship, and serve. Each believer has an important role in the local church. We are called to build His kingdom and not our own. It is not about a man or his ministry, it is about Jesus. He is the Supreme Head of the church. When we gather together, He must be free to control and lead the service by His Spirit.
Ephesians 1:22 John 12:32

16. THE FIVEFOLD MINISTRY

The Head of the Church has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the perfecting of the saints and the work of the ministry; and these are actual, literal offices functioning in the Church today.
Ephesians 4:8, 11-12

17. THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH.

JESUS IS COMING FOR THE CHURCH

Christ according to scripture will come again for His Church—perfected, without spot or blemish, looking for faith in the lives of believers.
Luke 18:8, Ephesians 5:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

  • The saints, the bride of Christ, shall reign with Him forevermore.
    1 Thessalonians 4:17
18. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN

All must be “born again” to enter the kingdom of God, to obtain His blessings, to have peace with God, and to meet Him in the air as His bride, without spot or blemish.
Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9, John 3:3

19. THE SACRAMENTS AND ORDINANCES

There are ordinances by which one can demonstrate and express their faith:

  • Holy Communion
    Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:24-27
  • Baptisms
    Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 12:13
There are sacraments we hold sacred and live by with deep conviction:
  • Anointing of the Sick
    James 5:14-15
  • Holy Matrimony Between a Man and a Woman
    Matthew 19:5-6, Hebrews 13:4, Ephesians 5:31
  • Child Dedication
    Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Luke 2:22
  • Ordination of Ministers
    Acts 13:1-4, 1 Timothy 2:7, Exodus 28:41
20. THE INSTITUTION OF THE HOME
  • Life begins in the womb.
    Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13, 16
  • Marriage is between a man and a woman only.
    Genesis 2:18-25, Proverbs 5:18-19, 1 Corinthians 7:1-16

God Himself created and instituted marriage as the holy union between one man and one woman, according to the Holy Scriptures. No other form of union or marriage is acceptable in the eyes of God or by this corporation/Church.

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’ [NW1]; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Mark 10:6-9 NKJV).

  • Children are a heritage from the Lord and are to be brought up scripturally.
    Psalm 127:3, Proverbs 22:6
  • The husband is the head of the home, and he must give an account to Christ.
    Ephesians 5:22-23, Colossians 3:18-19
21. FINAL JUDGMENT

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8

22. THE LORD’S SECOND COMING

A distinct, separate event from the rapture of the Church. The personal, imminent return of Christ at the end of the seven-year tribulation, when He will personally and visibly return, with His saints.
Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 1:7, Matthew 24:30, Zechariah 14:4-6, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Titus 2:13

23. THE MILLENNIAL REIGN

The New Heavens and the New Earth
“We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21,22).

A thousand years on earth, during which Satan will be bound, and the Lord will have things the way He always intended for His kingdom and His saints.
Revelation 20:1-6

Our History

Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you”.

Such was the nature of God’s call that came upon the life of Pastor Edwin Akyea and his family. The journey to Boston began in 2001 when, after an eventful day of ministering to people, just before bed, the Lord spoke clearly and said He had an assignment for him in the United States and that he will arrange to get him and his family settled in the US from Ghana under this assignment.

This was at a time when Pastor Edwin had no plans or intention to relocate to any foreign country, let alone the USA. Long story short, Pastor Edwin found himself in the USA in West Haven, Connecticut with his lifelong Pastor and friend, Rev. Francis Agyeman, as an associate Pastor at Victory Life Family Chapel, now known as Dominion Church International.

He served in this role with his wife Mrs. Alberta Akyea, who joined him a year later from 2003 until 2012. They were joined by their two children, Thelma and Edwin Jr., from Ghana in 2008.

In 2011, the Lord again directed Pastor Edwin specifically to move on to the Boston area to pioneer a new mission, and this saw the birth of Triumphant End-Time Ministries. This move involved relocating to a place where they knew no one and had to start from scratch, trusting only in God to provide, direct, and grow this new ministry.

They settled in Norwood and were eventually miraculously connected to the current location of the church in Quincy at 29 Foster Street. The first service was held on August 5, 2012, a month after they settled in Massachusetts at the Adams Inn Hotel at 29 Hancock Street, also in Quincy, where they had in attendance the Akyea family, Sister Racheal Boateng, Dr. Afua Sarkordie, Sister Margaret Awuku, Deacon Augustine Dwamena, Mr. and Mrs. KodjoSampong, Jr. and two representatives from Victory Life Family Chapel, Connecticut, in the persons of Mr. Frank Sampong and Bro. Joseph Gbese. Also in attendance were Reverend Jerry Quaye and his family from Worcester.

From such very humble beginnings, the Lord has brought us to where we are today. Pastor Eric Darko-Nyarko joined us a few weeks later and has become a strong and dependable ally in ministry, holding up the hands of God’s servant, Reverend Edwin K. Akyea, in this work of faith.

God’s presence by His power has been evident throughout this journey and testimonies, abound of His faithfulness in the lives of the membership of Triumphant End-Time Ministries.

Core Scripture for T.E.M.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place”. 2 Corinthians 2:14
